I liked this book. The story was okay, but what I really enjoyed about it was the reminders I received about trusting in God with my life and remembering that He is completely sovereign. When I want to get ahead of Him and try to plan out my future without considering His will, I waste a lot of time worrying about what is going to happen. Instead, I should patiently wait upon Him to guide me into the paths He has already laid out for me. It's really so much easier that way.
So, thank you, Mrs. Rogers, for reminding me of these things. I needed that.
