WWW Wednesdays

WWW Wednesdays is a meme from Should Be Reading, where we answer three questions: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? and What do you think you'll read next? If you want to participate, answer the three questions, then put your link on the Should Be Reading Blog in the comment section. Happy reading!

What I am currently reading:

Red Ink (Extreme Devotion Series, Book 3)
Red Ink by Kathi Macias - I have read only a few chapters of this book so far, but it looks like another AWESOME book by Mrs. Macias. It is the third book in the Extreme Devotion series. The main characters are Christians in China who are persecuted for their faith. The author has such a talent for writing about the issue of modern day martyrdom. I'll be reviewing this book on December 16th.

What I recently finished reading:

Surrender the WindSurrender the Wind by Rita Gerlach - My 16 year-old daughter read this book about six months ago and loved it. She immediately told me I had to read it, so I promised her I would. I finally got around to it this last weekend, and I really liked it, too. I hope to write a review on it, but I'm not sure when.

What I'll probably read next:

The Foster Girls (Smoky Mountain Series)The Foster Girls by Lin Stepp - This is the first book in a series about the Smoky Mountains. Since this is where I live, I have heard about this author and her books for several years and many people have recommended them to me. They have been on my TBR list for quite a while. I'm looking forward to reading a book with the setting in my area of the country. (Isn't the cover gorgeous? It is a painting by one of our local artists, Jim Gray.)

Tell me: what are you reading? Have you read any of these? What are your favorite books of 2010?
